Events at Tockwith Airfield for the

2007 Season

Updated 28/06/07

Due to the introduction of strict sound level rules imposed by the Harrogate Council we have to limit models to

ELECTRIC ONLY

However these limited events will continue for the 2007 season, and are subject to the flying and local site rules that were introduced in 2004.

Meetings in 2007 are held on the Second Sunday of each month. The gates open at 9-15 a.m. with flying commencing at 10 a.m. Proof of BMFA Membership is required and ALL transmitters will be frequency tested before being compounded. All models require fail safe on at least the throttle. When time and facilities allow the famous "Haviour Sausage and Onions" will be on the menu, but bring your own drinks.

The dates listed on our Diary Page are confirmed but as always the weather conditions can make things difficult. Please contact Jack Parker on  0113 2588543 prior to the meeting date for confirmation that  the meeting will take place. Proof of BMFA membership will be requested on site before any flying takes place.

"Risk Assessment" and "Local Flying Site Rules " documents are detailed in full on the Rules and Safety page and are available for inspection at the site on the day from the C.D. Any infringements of  the "Site Rules" will result in the offending pilot being immediately grounded for the remaining part of that days event. Any flying fees will not be refunded.
