Results of Scale competition Held At Tockwith Airfield June 10th.

First Place for an excellent model and flight of a Dornier 335 goes to Rinus Pretorious with 40.5 points

Second place with 39 points is Paul Crawshaw

Third place with 32 points is Harry Harland.

Fourth place with 26 points is David Muir.

Many thanks go to the eighteen fliers who each turned up with numerous aircraft and the many spectators, which made the day well worthwhile, the organisers wish to show appreciation to all those attending and look forward to seeing them again on July 8th.

The Brighouse Vintage M.A.C invite you and your members to our next Electric Scale Competition

On the back of the successful electric competition held last month (May 2007) at Tockwith, Jack Parker and his team invite you to join him again on the 10th of June at this fabulous site. This light hearted Electric Scale Completion is open to all BVMAC club members and visitors alike providing they are BMFA members. The judging will be by the competitors themselves who will be asked to ward points up to a maximum of five in the following categories:-

1      The quality of build and presentation of the model.

2      The Scale interpretation of the model. (no documents required)

     The flight characteristics of the model

The winner being the competitor who is awarded the most points, there is but one judging rule and that is you will not be able to award yourself points.

Please pass the word around and come along on the 10th June 2007 to the Tockwith Airfield, join Jack and his team at the only “Electric Only Model Flying Site” in the Northern BMFA region.

 1st January 2007 (Update on Tockwith Meeting Dates)

Electric Flying at Tockwith has been moved from the first Sunday in each month to the Second Sunday in each month. This will be effective from January 2007. For full list of dates <click Here>

2nd May 2006 (Report from the Committee)

At the Clubs recent meeting your Committee agreed unanimously that the Tockwith flying site would remain the clubs official " Electric Only Flying Site" Meetings will continue at that site on the first Sunday in each month. Dates are published in the Clubs Diary
